'Sorasori Yojana' launched: Mamata Banerjee extends 'Didi Ko Bole' initiative for direct grievance redressal

Mamata Banerjee, the Chief Minister of West Bengal, has taken a step towards strengthening communication and addressing the grievances of the people with the launch of the "Sorasori Chief Minister Yojana."

This initiative was introduced during the program "Didi Ke Bolo Tarz," where Mamata Banerjee unveiled a dedicated phone number for citizens to voice their complaints.

Under the "Sorasori Chief Minister Yojana," individuals can now reach out directly to the Chief Minister's office with their concerns and difficulties. The designated phone line, 9137091370, will be operational from Monday to Saturday, between 10 AM and 6 PM. This direct line of communication aims to make it easier for people to connect with the government and share their issues.

To facilitate the efficient handling of complaints, the government has established 500 call centers and deployed more than 100 field workers across the state. These measures ensure that every complaint receives equal attention and is addressed promptly. With the introduction of this program, Mamata Banerjee seeks to establish a strong channel for citizens to voice their grievances, ensuring that their concerns are heard and resolved effectively.

During a press conference held at the Nabanna Assembly Hall, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee emphasized that the "Sorasori Chief Minister Yojana" is not a political program but a government service. She highlighted the advancements made in the system to enhance public participation, making it easier for people to share their difficulties. Previously, people would resort to writing letters or sending emails, but now they have the convenience of reaching out directly through the established call centers.
